Setting Up Personal Web Pages
In order to create a personal web page, you first need to create the HTML pages. There are many tools available such as Microsoft's Front Page in addition to free ones that you can download.

One thing to keep in mind while developing your web site is that the total amount of memory used by all of your files should be 5MB or less. This includes all images too. HINT: JPEG (.jpg) image files take up less space than bitmap (.bmp) ones. Additional web space may be purchased by contacting TwinCitizen Online.

Once you have developed your web pages, you will need to upload them to your personal web space. To do this, you will need an FTP client. TwinCitizen recommends either WS-FTP or SmartFTP (free). Click here for instructions on using WS-FTP to connect to your TwinCitizen web space.

To use your TwinCitizen web space from any FTP client connect to www1.twincitizen.net with your login username (including the '@twincitizen.net') and password.

To view this space from a browser, go to www1.twincitizen.net/~username (exclude the '@twincitizen.net' here)
